The KOGS 2019 call for papers deadline has been extended until 29 April 2019.
The fourth biennial conference and exhibition, organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and UBM AEM, takes place from 13 – 16 October 2019 in Kuwait under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait. The event is supported by the Ministry of Oil, State of Kuwait and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and subsidiaries.
Under the theme ‘New Energy Transition: Delivering Value Through Collaboration and Capability,’ authors are invited to submit proposals in over 30 technical topics spanning 7 categories:
- Future Workforce and Talent Management
- Project Execution Excellence
- Downstream Integration Synergies
- Gas Development, Transportation and Marketing
- Unlocking Upstream Potential
- HSSE in the Oil Industry
- Creativity, Innovation and Technology
Paper proposals will be evaluated by an influential programme committee of NOCs, IOCs, service industry company and academia representatives, chaired by Farida Ali Abdullah, Manager Reservoir Management, Kuwait Oil Company.
